A placement at CAN offers a supportive operational environment working with clients affected by the use of alcohol, drugs or homelessness alongside the guidance and supervision of experienced staff.
We can

Provide Social Work Practice Teachers in Northamptonshire

Appropriate levels of supervision

Offer 1:1 client contact; telephone contact; triage assessment; complex assessment; short and medium term counselling; groupwork

Process CRB checks but not cover the costs
We cannot
- Reimburse travel, training or other expenses
- Guarantee use of raw material without client consent
- Provide purely observational placements
We expect
- Students to comply with CAN’s Policies and Procedures
- Confirmation of funding before placement commences
