Footsteps is aware that for those who have overcome drug/alcohol dependencies or homelessness issues, the need to move away from their pasts is strong. We are also aware that this period of transition can be lonely and frustrating.
During times of substance misuse or homelessness, practical and/or personal problems can mount up. The start of any period of rehabilitation is often the time that these problems become paramount. This is the very time that they can cause most damage.
Footsteps recognises this fact and through mentoring and/or befriending, seeks to smooth the path to recuperation. |
