Footsteps is a Cabinet Office funded GoldStar Exemplar Project. One of our major funding criteria is that we share "Best Practice" with other mentoring and befriending projects.
Footsteps intends to undertake this task in two ways:
- By offering support to any mentoring and befriending project that wishes to gain APS status.
- By offering assistance and guidance in the development, implementation and documentation of project procedure and policy.
We feel that the experience and knowledge gained from our own experience of modifying and developing Footsteps' procedures in order to meet the requirements of the APS, will be of great value to other projects that wish to achieve APS or just wish to improve the efficiency of their own practices. |
