What is the Swiss Challenge?
Walk up the Schilthorn Mountain (Of James Bond "On her Majesty's Secret Service" fame) which has a height of just less than 10,000 feet. Currently, The Swiss Challenge, orginated by Mick Finch, is totally unique in charity fundraising; only CAN offers this opportunity and provides superb value for your support.
Do I need to be experienced? And can I do this challenge on my own?
You don't need to be an experienced walker (please note that this is a WALK and not a climb) but you will need real dedication and determination. Mick Finch provides opportunities to join with groups of fellow walkers throughout the year. These can provide you with an opportinuity to meet new people, make new friends and increase your fitness in the process.
As well as raising valuable money for the charity it is a fantastic opportunity to fulfil a personal goal and take in the beautiful sights and scenery that Switzerland has to offer. The Schilthorn stands shoulder to shoulder with iconic mountains, such as The Eiger and The Jungfrau. Apart from the great experience involved on the day of the challenge itself, there are fanastic sights and experiences to be had.

We are looking for up to 30 people to partake in this challenge. We will be asking for a minimum sponsorship of £650 per person. This will include all travel, accommodation, breakfast and evening meals. NB It also includes the donation to CAN which will assist our work with drug, alcohol and homelessness problems.
